SARAJEVO, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) integration into the European Union (EU) and infrastructure projects related to economic development were in the focus of meeting between BiH Chairman of the Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov here on Thursday.

Zvizdic thanked his counterpart for the support Bulgaria was providing during its six-month rotating EU Presidency.

"I want to thank for everything Bulgaria has done in the last 25 years, especially in the last 6 months," Zvizdic said at a press conference here.

Zvizdic stressed that the European perspective is a priority of BiH foreign policy and the European perspective for BiH means peace, stability and prosperity.

For his part, Borissov expressed Bulgaria's full support for the European path of BiH, and emphasized that it is important to keep connection and commit to development of digital infrastructure and projects related to economic development.

BiH formally submitted its application to join the EU in 2016.
