THE HAGUE, May 30 (Xinhua) -- One year after their debut in the Netherlands, the two giant pandas Xing Ya and Wu Wen are doing well and can now be followed every day by means of several webcams, their Dutch residence Ouwehands Zoo announced on Wednesday.

"The pandas can be viewed with the aid of four different camera angles. These angles have a view of the indoor and outdoor enclosures. The cameras are positioned in such a way that a panda can be seen at almost any given moment," said the Ouwehands.

Followers can go to www.ouwehand.nl/en/webcams to discover what a day in the life of a giant panda at Ouwehands Zoo looks like.

The zoo also said it had a "successful panda year" in 2017 with the number of visitors exceeding 1 million for the first time in history.

Xing Ya and Wu Wen living at Ouwehands Zoo in the Dutch city of Rhehen met the public for the first time last May, after six-week quarantine following their arrival on April 12 amid great interest of Dutch and foreign press.

Ouwehands Zoo has built a special "Pandasia" for these two lovely mammals. The whole area, built in traditional Chinese style, covers about 9,000 square meters, of which 3,400 square meters are designated for the giant panda enclosure.
