Vietnamese capital launches double-decker bus route

HANOI, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam' Hanoi capital on Wednesday officially launched a double-decker bus route which runs through its 25 streets full of tourist attractions.

Passengers on double-decker buses, which serve the Hanoi City Tour Hop on - Hop off service, can access audio guide systems in different languages, including Chinese, English, French, Japanese, South Korean, Russian and Spanish, and use wi-fi connections free of charge.

Double-decker buses are expected to run in more cities and provinces in Vietnam to transport tourists to places of interests and between the localities and airports.

Vietnam hosted over 6.7 million international arrivals in the first five months of this year, up 27.6 percent on-year, with the highest growth of 62.1 percent in the number of visitors from South Korea, followed by Finland, up 39.1 percent, and China, up 37 percent, said the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.?
