JAKARTA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- National football team of Indonesia will play with opponents from Singapore and the in preparation for the Asian Games.
The Indonesian team is scheduled to meet Singapore on March 21 and March 25 for the Philippines, according to acting chairman of the country's football association Joko Daryono.
"The main purpose of this matches is to boost preparation for the Asian Games," he said.
Besides, the two matches could also be used to improve Indonesia's position in FIFA rankings, said Daryono.
Indonesia is ranked 160th in the FIFA list, the Philippines at 123rd, and Singapore at 173rd.
